Psychometrists

Emma is a Master’s student studying Positive Psychology at Arizona State University with a focus on Health Psychology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Ball State University with a concentration in Teaching English as a New Language, a minor in Literature, and a focus on the Humanities. Through previous roles, she worked as a director in multiple settings in the non-profit sector. In her role as an Aquatics Director, she led staff teams of up to 70 individuals, ages ranging from 14 to 70, in providing developmentally appropriate swim lesson services, adaptive swim programming for those with mental and physical disabilities, and diligent lifeguarding practices for the members of her community. As a Director of Youth, Family, and Camp programming, she led her team in providing diversity-conscious childcare for infants to 17-year-olds in the drop-off care and day camp settings for multiple center locations throughout the Greater Indianapolis area. She also worked to connect families with resources for mental health services, food insecurity support, and other needs-based programming. Additionally, she worked with her staff members on personal and professional development related to career development and personal goals. 

 
In her free time, Emma enjoys exploring with her dog Whaley, traveling, attending concerts, reading, and spending time with her people.
