Staff

Samantha serves as our Office Manager. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry with a pre-medical concentration and a minor in psychology from Purdue University. Samantha was raised in Lafayette, Indiana. She has always been passionate about helping others and the community; she has volunteered at different events such as Food Finders Food Bank, Pack Away Hunger, Carry the Torch Walk, and Lafayette Urban Ministry. Samantha continues to strive to make a difference in people’s lives and assisting in any way she can. 

Outside of work, Samantha loves to spend time with family and friends. She loves being outdoors, whether that be going on walks, hikes, or going for a swim. She also enjoys reading, music, painting or drawing art, and any other crafts that pique her interest. 

 Sarah serves as our Office Coordinator works primarily Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings, as well as during the day on Wednesdays. Sarah has an interest in psychology and business management and plans to return to college to finish her degree. Sarah was raised in Hope, Indiana before she moved to Florida to be with her husband during his time in the Air Force. In Florida, she worked as a Guest Services Representative for the Air Force Commando Inns, where she assisted military members during deployments and training. Sarah is now glad to be back in Indiana to settle down, and excited to be a part of the EMH team. Sarah has always been advocating for others; she has been a student ambassador for IEP Resource Center’s Focus on Inclusion conferences and strives to make everyone feel heard, cared for, and validated.  

In her free time, Sarah enjoys creating art and hanging out with her family. Sarah loves animals dearly; she has two dogs and two cats at home. For art, she specializes in acrylic painting, charcoal drawings, and photography. Sarah is a huge fan of film and has experience in SFX makeup. She loves to be creative and incorporates art into all aspects of her life. 

Amber is our Administrative Assistant and recently took on the role of social media coordinator. She works a few hours each week during the academic year and continues to support us remotely during the summer. Amber handles a variety of administrative tasks and will be helping to expand our online presence. 

Amber graduated from Purdue University in 2014 with a Bachelor's of Science in Human Services. After graduation, she got married and started working at the Department of Child Services as a Family Case Manager. Amber spends most of her time working in ministry at her church when she isn't working at EMH. She is a mom and wife first. Amber is an avid crafter and lover of all things senior population and dreams to work in a nursing home when her son is off on his own. 

In her free time she enjoys going to wrestling meets to support her husband, serving at her church, going on walks and just being a momma. 

Braylin is Dr. Lesher's bonus daughter and a sophomore at Harrison High School. She assists in the office during the summer, working several days each week as her schedule allows. Her responsibilities include organizing, restocking supplies, and contributing to various office projects. 

Braylin has always lived in Lafayette/West Lafayette, Indiana, and has always loved animals. She hopes to pursue a career as a veterinarian or veterinary assistant in the future. 

Outside of work and school, Braylin spends much of her time playing volleyball throughout the year. In her free time, she enjoys being outdoors, going for walks, listening to music, taking long car rides, spending time with family and friends, and traveling, especially to warm, beach destinations.
