Psychological testing provides valuable information regarding an individual’s cognitive, emotional, intellectual, and/or behavioral functioning. It consists of a series of tests that are utilized to help provide diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendations. We offer services for clients from school age through adulthood.
To start, an intake interview is conducted, which is an hour-long appointment, to obtain a detailed history. Any additional helpful information (such as report cards, standardized testing reports, medical history, previous evaluations, or court documents) should be shared with the evaluator. Self-report rating scales may be administered. The testing appointment will be scheduled during the intake interview. The amount of time spent in direct testing will vary depending upon presenting concerns. Upon completion of testing, the evaluator will prepare a report and provide results, feedback, and recommendations at a one-hour follow-up session that is typically scheduled two to three weeks after the testing appointment.
Types of Evaluations/Testing conducted:
- Full psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults, which evaluate intellectual, emotional, behavioral, and personality functioning. Examples of diagnostic clarification include IQ testing, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, personality disorders, and behavioral disorders.
-Psychoeducational evaluations

-Child hearsay evaluations
